​Career Highlights

  • Currently serving as Vice Co-Chair of the FPSC and the Shared Care Committee, approving programs that support family physicians and consultant specialists alike to improve the care provided to patients

  • Founder and Director of a diverse multi-provider, full scope community-based family practice clinic in Burnaby where I actively provide longitudinal and episodic care, including minor surgery, palliative care, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

  • Co-Founder and Director of the first physician-led and operated UPCC in BC, networked with all Burnaby family practices and Fraser Health to provide after-hours care.

  • Led the first drive-through COVID-19 testing centre in the region. Physician-led and operated, this multi-partner model set the stage for all future FH COVID testing & vaccination sites. Served 110,000 patients in one year.

  • Member of the steering committee for the South Asian COVID Task Force, engaging in multi-cultural community education through weekly media interviews, social media awareness, the “This is Our Shot” campaign

  • Founding board member of the Burnaby Division of Family Practice and a continuing physician lead for several committees and PCN governance tables and initiatives

  • Leading physician voice in Burnaby’s Primary Care Network since its inception, developing multiple innovative primary care support programs to enable community wide team-based care.
